Logo Design Contest

Here is the mail that started it all. This would be a Logo Redesign rather than a design since the LUG did have a logo in the long past. Subsequently it also had a combination of logotype and icons which was there for sometime. Do please read the mail from Runa before you participate.

[edit] Requirements

  • It is preferred that the tools used to create the design be those which are classified as Free Software
  • It is preferred that the fonts (if the proposal is a logotype) used be under an appropriate free license
  • The proposed design should be capable of being used in a variety of media (including but not limited to vinyl, screen, flex etc)
  • The proposed design should be aesthetically pleasing to be used as 
 * Laptop Stickers
 * Banners
 * Stationery
 * T-Shirts
  • The formats in which the design would be required are: 
 * SVG
 * EPS
 * TIFF
 * JPEG
  • The design should be available in 150 dpi CYMK color mode in TIFF format
